I ran to my parents house via Chandler Mills Road. The distance is exactly 12 miles and I covered it in 1:37:10. I ran negative splits, which was difficult because the second half is far more challenging than the first. I ran 49:10 for the first 6 miles, and 47:56 for the final 6. My overall pace was 8:05. It was extremely dark and foggy, and it was hard to get in a rhythm because there were so many things to worry about with the poor visibility. I am pleased with my overall effort. I had some interesting wildlife adventures with a skunk and a horse. I am planning on running this route again next Friday.
